1. Who we are

Amour Skincare (amourskincare.com) is run by Amour Group Limited, 4 Perton Farm Barns, Jenny Walkers Lane, Perton, South Staffordshire, WV6 7HB. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. If you have any questions, email us at hello@amourskincare.com.

We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Our registration number is ZB288732.

2. What we collect

  • Order details: your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number and what you bought.
  • Account and rewards details: if you create an account or join our rewards programme, your login details, points balance and referral activity.
  • Payment details: handled securely by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Messages and reviews: anything you send us, and reviews or photos you choose to share.
  • Website use: information about how you use our website, collected through cookies (see section 8).

4. Advertising on Facebook, Instagram and Google

We may share a securely encrypted ("hashed") version of your email address or phone number with Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google. They use it only to match you to an existing account, so that we can show you relevant adverts, avoid showing you adverts for things you already have, or find other people with similar interests. They delete the matched information afterwards and do not use it for their own purposes.

You can object to this at any time by emailing hello@amourskincare.com, and we will remove you from future uploads. You can also control the adverts you see in your Facebook, Instagram and Google ad settings.

5. Who we share information with

We only share what's needed with trusted service providers who help us run our shop:

  • Shopify, which hosts our website and processes orders
  • Payment providers: Shopify Payments, PayPal and Clearpay
  • Delivery companies, such as Royal Mail
  • Email and website apps: Shopify Messaging and Klaviyo (emails), Smile (rewards), Loox (reviews), Monster Upsell (basket) and PageFly (page design)
  • Advertising partners: Meta and Google, as described in section 4
  • Faire, if you buy from us as a wholesale retailer

We never sell your personal information.

6. Transfers outside the UK

Some of our service providers store information outside the UK, for example in the USA or the EU. Where they do, they use approved safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK-US data bridge, to protect it.

7. How long we keep it

  • Order and accounting records: 6 years, as required by tax law.
  • Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe, after which we keep a record so we don't email you again.
  • Customer accounts: until you ask us to delete them, or after 3 years with no activity.

8. Cookies

We use cookies to make the website work, remember your basket, understand how visitors use the site and, with your permission, show you relevant adverts. You can change your choices at any time through your browser settings.

9. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the information we hold about you (free of charge)
  • ask us to correct or delete it
  • object to us using it, including for advertising
  • withdraw your consent to marketing at any time
  • ask us to send your information to another company

10. Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
